The Practice-
Your body is always taking in information. A thought, a memory, a sensation, a sound, a breath. Your nervous system is constantly assessing that information and responding - changing your heart rate, breathing, muscle tension, hormones, and level of arousal. Most of the this happens without you thinking about it.
Using intentional breath and our attention give us something unusual: a way to participate.
Feeling is the first component of the practice. We don’t change by thinking our way around what we feel. We change by becoming willing to feel it.
The Wild Pull uses different breathing techniques, guided visualization, and meditation as tools to work in the body. Not to escape what you feel, to become familiar with it.
Feeling is the starting point. The tools take us deeper. The Tools
Science is catching up to practices humans have been exploring for a very long time. Brain activity. Heart rate. Breathing. Stress responses. Changes in our perception. But knowing what happens in the body doesn’t explain what it feels like to be human.
Here for the science and here for the mystery. 01
The Breath
Breathing happens automatically, but you can also change it on purpose.
The way you breathe can change what your body is doing. Breath can move through the body’s energy centers, soften the places that have become guarded, and create more space around the heart. Our breath helps our body’s communicate with itself in a deeper, more complex way- through sensations, emotion, intuition, and awareness.
Interrupting autopilot and relating with your mind differently.
Our brain is always busy and most of our everyday life runs on repetition. Same thoughts, feelings, reactions, and rhythms. In meditation we are not trying to force a particular experience, escape our mind, or have no thoughts. We meditate to first notice. When we explore and experiment our brains respond to the new input.

The Brain
The brain thinks. The heart knows.
The heart generates it’s own electrical and electromagnetic activity-one of the most powerful rhythms of the body. We experience emotion, intuition, connection, and a sense of knowing here. Our body’s compass. Breath and attention create space for that experience- to feel what is here, meet what has been held, and allow something new to flow through. Some things can be understood by the mind. Others have to be felt.

Integration
A session gives you an experience.
Integration is what happens when that experience becomes something you understand, notice, or use in your actual life.

The practice doesn’t end when the session does.
